Here is our version of the children song no 6 by chick corea. i don´t like the reverb on the recording and humming like keith jarret of the piano player but i had no influence on both :)
other than that i think we played it ok.

"Fortune Smiles" - one of my favorite songs from Keith Jarrett. I'm a huge fan of his playing and compositions. This song was recorded on one of my favorite recordings released in 1971 and titled "Gary Burton and Keith Jarrett"
OMG! How about taking this setup for a 50 dollar gig! Maybe these guys are famous?
Well, I'd rather play the vibes and play tunes, but I'm sure lots of people like there music!
So don't complain the next time you have to change your cord!!!

Per the other post about noise... this is what a functioning, quiet one looks like.
We played a blues and passed the choruses around the room. Our goal was to not mess up the form or the time. We did pretty good. Just a couple of glitches!!!
Solo Vibraphone on "Angel Eyes" - I worked on solo playing a lot with Gary Burton when I was a studying with him in the 70s at Berklee. The lessons with Gary were mind opening and very challenging. I was very fortunate to be there at the school in the 70s studying with Gary and as well as so many other great teachers including Alan Dawson. Entering as a drummer and then switching to vibes (and piano) was a very good move for me. The lessons with Gary were split with vibes and piano. I'm still working at it after all these years and still love it.
Hey Everyone...I hope everyone's doing great.
During the week long workshop in Phila a couple of weeks ago, one of the teachers was dealing with some arm/elbow soreness. Clearly there was something going on that was most likely related to the shoulder, elbow, or arm/hand, that if nothing else, reflected a LOT of years of playing the instrument and the related wear and tear on the tissues, all of which is probably to be expected given how many years this player has been playing hard, and great!
