Hey guys,
Summer is coming and I have more time for Skype Lessons. So I will offer some great deals for Subscribers of 3 months or more. That is a inexpensive Skype or in house lessons. They will be limited just because of my schedule.
I just put 4 up for the month of May. You purchase two lessons for a GREAT price. We do the first one and then give you things to do for the second lesson. You work hard and then we check in. You get better and vibesworkshop.com makes a few bucks. Win/win :-)
I'm hoping members will be able to help me out with some information I need for some materials I'm writing.
For Sale:
Two new pairs of Malletech ELS16 (Ed Smith) mallets $79.00 shipped (add $2.00 if paying by PayPal)!

I am working on converting my vibes into a MIDI controller. So far I wired up 8 Piezo pickups (white notes from B to B) for a proof of concept. My motivation is to be able to notate things that I play (e.g., transcriptions). As a side-effect, I can also layer other sounds on top of the vibes, e.g., strings.
My take on a timeless jam session anthem.
Chopin's music is so dense. A brilliant balance of technicality and emotion is conveyed on everything he wrote. Every time i play this piece I see a new way that the lines connect, in the spiderweb of arpeggios and linear passages. The tempo here is faster than I usually play it (66 bpm, rather than 55-60).
