The Who Is Book

When someone posts a 'Who Is' they're asking about someone on the site. Inviting them to tell their story. When you get a 'Who Is', it's optional but would be nice to share a little about yourself with us.

The Inside

If you're a member you get to hang out with some really prestigious players here. You see them online and I'm sure it's exciting when you see some of the pros online. I dig it!

If you could see what's happening on the inside of the site. The practicing, the posting, getting comments from the pros about your playing, trying etudes with other members of the site.

This is pretty cool.

who is tony miceli?

dear tony,
maybe it would be nice if you give us a little bit of information about you. from the site i only know a few things. but i would like to know about your musical background...where did you study, how you came to the vibes,do you play drums also, your teachers etc.

on the site there are some bio´s of some great vibe players but i am missing yours "the chief" of the site...you should fix that!

Bud Powell by Gary Burton & Chick Corea (1980)

I was watching this video and thinking about ALL the different types of sets Gary has played on. I'm sure he wouldn't carry his everywhere.

I was wondering what he had to go up against sometimes?

I know our school lent him a Musser that wasn't in great shape. the legs were bent in and bending. It would have worked fine but might have looked a bit odd on stage!
