I think I'll stick with vibe playing. That's hard enough. Here we build a green screen in our house and shot some video. I have to get better at this, but you'll get the idea!
Here's an excerpt from from my senior recital at Curtis.
Le Livre de Claviers
By Phillipe Manoury
Joe Locke talkes to Nico about an exciting new development at the Vanderplas Baileo factory. They are designing an all new midi system for the Mvibe as well as for acoustic vibraphones!
Barry who is a subscriber to the site, came over during out vibe hang and taled about polishing your bars!
Here's a link to the website of legendary percussionist Emil Richards' website. This is a cool slide show showing some of the instruments in his collection, including a 31-tone vibe where an octave is divided into like, 21 parts. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Richards almost 20 years ago at the PASIC Day of Percussion when it was held in Philly.
Gina Ferrera is a local Gyil Player. For us vibe players that's our ancient ancestor.
Pt. 2 Of Dan Gorlin's vidcasts on African Music. Check out pt. 1 if you haven't seen it yet.
I'll post some of the video from the Diane Monroe Online Concert broadcast on Oct. 18,2008.
Here is "Irish Monk."

To be honest this was an interesting podcast for me to make. Take a look at Dan Gorlin. He does not look like an expert on West African music, particularly the music from Ghana. But he really knows his stuff and has been studying, playing and teaching this music for 30 years now.
If that wasn't enough, I've heard from two great Philly musicians about him, and he definitely knows his stuff.
Besides that, just spending the night with him showed me how much passion (and knowledge) he has for this music and for teaching it. This is a 2 part series, definitely worth watching.
