Coltrane's Sound

Have you guys heard the album, Coltrane's Sound? I just recently became privy to it. It's cool. Trane superimposes his changes on some standards as well as plays a few of his originals. It's quickly becoming my favorite Trane album.

This is the first take of Body and Soul on the album (there are two)

P.S. The whole album is on youtube...

Music and the Brain - Rhythm - Jessica Grahn

Hi everyone,

This is a recent video from Jay Ingram's show, in which Dr. Jessica Grahn talks about brain and music, particularly rhythm perception. I thought you guys would be interested.

I m doing similar stuff in my research. I know Jessica personally, although don t work directly with her.

Enjoy ! If you have questions... ;=)

Cheers,

Nico

QwikLinx pop-ups or mouse-overs

Recently I have noticed, when on the Internet, on almost any page I visit whether it be a bulletin board or just pages browsing the Internet, there always seems to be certain key words that are highlighted in color and double underscored. These words do not have to be clicked on to activate. If you just pass your mouse cursor over the underscored words, then an annoying or unwanted ad pops up that appear to be sponsored by "QwikLinx". Move the cursor away and they go away in a couple of seconds or you can click the x box in upper right corner.
