Good stuff Todd. "Straight No(funky)Chaser" What is the program you used for the bass and rhythm? I'm a digital peasant when it comes to that stuff. Bob Wesner

I have an iMac 24" with 4 gigs of RAM and do everything within Apples Logic Pro.
The bass on this track is a Moog emulator EXS instrument I played with an Axiom keyboard.
The drum loop is just that. A drum loop.
I have a Presonus FP10 which has 8 Line/Mic inputs with good bang for the bucks pre-amps. Two of which I use for recording the vibes. I still have not found a way to get my vibes to sound good.
For electric bass I use the Presonus Studio module which has a great Preamp-Compressor-EQ chain. I like it a lot. I use an Ibanez SR-506 six string bass which I also love. For slap stuff I still like my Fender Jazz bass the most.
