I have an upcoming gig that I wanted to let you know about. Lieb and myself will be giving clinics at the university the day of the concert. Here's a press release for the date:

Vibist Ed Saindon and saxist Dave Liebman to perform at The University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH on Monday, February 2, 2009 beginning at 8.

Rounding out the group will be bassist David Clark and drummer Matt Wilson. The group will be performing original compositions from Saindon as played on their latest CD release Depth of Emotion. Tickets are $8, $6 for students and seniors. The concert will be held in the Johnson Theatre at the Paul Creative Arts Center on the Durham campus.

Saindon is a mallet percussionist and composer who is active as an educational clinician as well as being a professor at Berklee College of Music since 1976. Liebman has had a long, illustrious career (including an important tenure with Miles Davis) as a performer as well as a noted educator and prolific writer.
