great find! I so wish the recording quality was better on that cd it sounds terrible! Theres gotta be more somewhere....its probably in some vault at a major studio unfortunately :(
Gary has his sideman recordings listed at his website, and I'll post a link to two of those for sale at Amazon. The only one I own is Getz a Go Go, but the other one available is the Getz/Gilberto No. 2. Both are available at very affordable prices.
Hey Guys- there is another CD of Gary B. with Stan Getz on Verve: Stan Getz "Nobody Else But Me"
It's from 1964 and is their only studio album, but was never released in the 60s because of the popularity of the bossa nova records. It has some great standards on it and a couple of Gary's tunes as well. Great stuff - I recommend it highly--
