I know I'm early, but here's a practice tape of Tricotism.

Here are my groovin High Lessons.

I've posted the main audio which contains Groovin High Melody and a Chord Study (2 separate pdfs)

Then you a quarter note solo (no audio) and a syncopated study in 3rds (pdf and audio).

If you're a beginner do the following:

1. Play the melody, then follow it with the quarter note study and then take the melody out.
2. Fill in the chords on the quarter note solo etude
3. Post 2 recordings of Groovin high from Youtube that you like.

If you're intermediate:

There's an etude here in here called "Line Etude for First Half." For extra credit, create a 2nd half for it :)

Joe locke recently posted an great article from a keyboard article that was based on concepts with the Minor penatonic scale.

using the Cmin pentatonic C Eb F G Bb this scale can be used over the following chords .. Cm7 Dbmaj7 Fsus7 and Aalt7 i made a play along progression based on these chords and improvised over them using this scale ..

the progression is Aalt7 / Dbmaj7/ Fsus7/ Cmin7...

fun stuff .. how to work this into all 12 keys

Some extra lessons are on the way. With the busy vibes week in Delaware, I'll be helping Tony out by getting a few more lessons up for our 7WOB.

Check this etude out. There's good language ideas in here, not just for Crazeology, but you may find it useful for other rhythm changes as well. Good luck!
