Lines Through Alternate Minor Changes Pt. 2 -V

Hey everybody. I recently did a recording session with The University of South Carolina Palmetto Pans (steel pan group). USC is my alma mater and they invited me to be featured on one of the tunes of their upcoming album. I got emailed this by the studio a little with ago. I am happy with how it turned out. Hope ya dig it!
Excellent documentary on Chris and his group, Underground. Oh yea, and GOOOOO AMMMMMERICA!!!
Tom Harrell is maybe my favorite musician. A serious tie btw him and Mulgrew Miller. Wow, this is so incredible
This is a lick using melodic minor. You hear this lick everywhere. It comes from a basic voicing. Check it out!
I'm sitting here listening to Clifford Brown practicing over Cherokee. He's working out his s***. I did this because I was working out my stuff on cherokee this morning since I'll have to play it in Korea in August! I'm going to start practicing it now. While in Ireland doing a tribute to MJQ, I'm going to play it on the gigs. Just throw it in (John Daly start working on you FAST tempos). So I'll be working on this for the next 60 days.
Yesterday was my first vibes only gig. Untill then, I always had split guitar/vibes gigs.
Bass/vibes in the first part and on the second we had to acompany various singers on the fly with all kind of repertoires, most of them coming without any written music, all of them singing in fancy keys and some of the tunes totally unknown (from me at least). Very good ear exercise !
