"Finally it happened, the Sultanate of Oman has got the blues. These are five Ladies from the Diwan I teach. They started playing percussion one year ago and have never heard any blues or jazz music before. So we did all the singing stuff and so on, as Tony has showed it at the Limerick and Sassenheim workshops. That's the result."
Remember: I talk about bass lines in the top part of the chord. I do know that technically that's not a bass line. But there's something that a bass line does rhythmically (besides the low part of the chord) that helps the time. And I think you can put that anywhere.
With all the talk about transcribing solos or not. I personally think this is pretty cool. And I get the feeling this cat digs doing this. And on recorder!!!
