Good Vibes October 2020
Hi Everyone,
Hope you and your loved ones are all healthy and safe! I know what a tough time this is for musicians and so fervently wish we could get back to seeing and hearing you in live settings.
Meanwhile, the October show is slated for October 4 and 7.
It opens with my favorite election tune, "Elect 'Oral' Blues" by the Gerry Tachoir Group. The Blues with a capital "B" has got it just about right.
Here's the playlist of musicians alphabetically:
Bobby
Bryan
Christos
Chuck
David B
David F
Gary
Jay
Jerry
John
Lolly
Mike

Nightingale for Barry K
I said I would play at the coffeehouse this Sunday, but I got a gig, so I won't be there. I was going to play this tune because Barry had been asking about how we all thought about the changes as we played the tune. I tried to do a little walk through.
...seemed like a good idea to share it here rather than just send it to him. I'm good for a critique of anything I played or said. :)

MAZE
'MAZE' is an original composition that was written to feature the exceptional Brazilian drummer and dear friend, Mauricio Zottarelli. I would llike to thank Jason Kronick for mixing the track. Enjoy!

A Thorough Guide to Ending Tunes, Part 1: Tags
Hello all!
I’m taking a little break from the “how to play vibes like” lessons and am doing a couple beginner-oriented ones on ending tunes, although I think everyone can probably get something from them. This lesson is really for anyone who has ever been on a gig or at a jam session where at the end you all just kind of fizzled out in an unsatisfying, anticlimactic way, and wants a better alternative for the future. It’s also for anyone who just wants more creative options to end tunes.
"My Shining Hour" - Vibes Trio
A couple new lessons soon, but I wanted to share the first video I've put together from a casual recording session from over the summer (one of two times I played with real people over the summer!).
Any video editors have any tips? It's my first time trying multiple camera angles and am interested in hearing if anyone has some critique.
