In the home studio tonight doing a little practicing and experimenting with a beautiful composition by the great Leonard Bernstein. Although the song is usually played as a straight 8th ballad, I'm having some fun seeing what happens playing it with more of an uptempo Brazilian feel. Another ballad that is also often played like this is the classic Body and Soul.

Here are some solo techniques, thoughts and approaches related to my solo vibraphone clip of Paul McCartney’s "Yesterday" on my YouTube channel.
A gem of a song with a beautiful melody, lyrics and harmony written by Paul McCartney. I hadn't played this song in a longtime and started experimenting with it last week. The song plays itself. I worked out some harmonic variations on the piano before applying to the vibes.
