Remember if this is overwhelming try to just go one bar at a time. And remember..... No pressure!
Simple ear training! Download this zip file, unzip it, add it itunes or burn it to a CD. Set it to random and then follow the notes. Pause them in the beginning. Figure each note out with as few tries as possible. DON'T GO FISHING! That's what I call it when someone just starts hitting random notes to figure out the pitch they just heard. Take your time.
If you play a wrong note, sing the wrong note and then sing the note on the cd. Check out the difference and then play the right note. Make sense?

This trio is amazing and its christos on vibes, petros klampanis on bass and bodek janke on drums-percussion. Also a very good greek drummer kostas anastasiadis joined the jamm leaving bodek playing the percussion part :).

So, for those of you who don't know me that well, it will suffice to say that after years of pretty much only playing jazz on the vibes (occassionally working with some R&B or latin groups)I began to play music in and around the yoga community about 5 years ago.
I thought Tony's simple question was so funny, that I decided to do another one. Here it is:
When you have a gig, how many times do you check to make sure you have every part of the vibraphone?
WHY IS IT EVERYTIME I PUT MY STICKS ON THE VIBES, ONE.... ONLY ONE..... MALLET FALLS OFF. EVERY TIME.
