This etude should give you some chordal ideas.
My student Dan asked me for a chord etude on this tune. So here it is with the rhythms.
The tune: If I Should Lose You
Assignment: right in the chord symbols and analyze what I'm doing.
@Dan, why don't you write up something about this? And why don't you play it and record it and post your version. My chords then your chords.

What a great tune Flamenco Sketches is for working on chords and chord melodies. There is no melody so it's all you! I love practicing this tune.

A very simple idea, but check out the pdf and work this through all the keys.
If you're more advanced try and figure ways to solo on this as well.
Correction - Think of the D mixlydian phrygian chord as a D triad with an Eb.
