Where have you guys played? I'm trying to play out more so i'm wondering what obscure (and not obscure) venues everyone has played at. Plus i think it'd just be interesting to hear.

Well, I've played some great places and some not-so-great places. The best being Yoshis Jazz Club, the top venue here in San Francisco. I've played at some of the high-end restaurants and lounges throughout the city, including Pearls Jazz Club and the Fairmont Hotel. I've also played at lots of neighborhood cafes, bars, bookstores, and on the street for tips.
I've played tons of weddings and private functions. One was located on a hilltop way out on the California coast. I had to drag my stuff several hundred yards up a dirt trail. I also played on a man-made island (built by an eccentric millionaire) in the middle of San Francisco Bay. And finally, I once played a wedding ceremony in a cave!
