Well, I will have to give some sort of short workshop at the WVC (World Vibes Congress) this year. I was going to take notes and keep a diary on my computer and thought I would do it here. So I'll blog here and you guys can give me your two cents.

I started a discord server for Vibes workshop. I think it's gonna be very cool. It's gonna have stages in it where we can play and have the coffee hang we can have impromptu talks we can have impromptu playing together, etc.. I'm building out slowly and will post this just for members here at Vibes workshop for you guys to join once I see a handful of people. I will start doing some things whether it's classes or question and answer things or performances. I will start setting things up. We have about 10 people so far.
Most of us are smart and careful. I am, but the other day I slipped and clicked on something someone sent me. I never do that. It hijacked my email and sent the same to my whole email list which is about 3000 people.
Becareful when selling an instrument. Even with the vibes there are a lot of scams going on.
I sell owner to people who come and pick it up and bring cash. It seems that with venmo and paypal there are a lot of ways to file a dispute a week later and then get your money back.
So I think in this day and age, it's seller beware.

I got an email from Tony, with an "invitation" link to Dropbox. The URL did not match Dropbox. I fear that I have been phished...
the url was "glentor.vu", which seems to have mirrored the Dropbox site, and is a known phishing op.
Hopefully I'm wrong and paranoid or whatever, but I don't think so.
Does anyone know about this?
When I was younger, I would spend hours with my sisters and my friends sitting around listening to records, sometimes the same record repeatedly for hours. Sure, I would also spend a lot of time in a transcription mode, trying to learn the drum parts. But, beyond the learning processes of becoming a musician, there was a significant amount of my recreational time spent just listening to music.
I have been using an AI notetaker. When I practice I talk about things out loud. Then the app (Plaud) sums up everything and distills it down. Here's what it gave me today:
I know some people are not into AI. But I love it. It writes my code now, records meetings and notes and my thoughts and just sums everything up for me!
