Hey Everyone,

I just found out that this video was posted on youtube of a gig I did last monday. This is one of my new projects. I recorded a cd with this singer. I play on 2 tracks on the album and here we are live with 11 band members on a small stage. I'm featured here with a short solo. so check it out. I'm in the back in the dark...

It's Terry's birthday this Oct. 13th! I got this terrific very recent vid of him (May 30th 2010). I truly dig it, and am totally amazed by his groove, phrasing, touch, soul and energy!

How many times did we come to that conclusion: vibes keep you young! ;-)

A few months ago, as I was playing my YV2700 Yamaha vibraphone, the rotators stopped spinning and my control lights were kinda sputtering. I reached down to check the motor pullies and they were "frozen". No way could I get the belts operating and I had to play the rest of the gig with no rotation.

Next Sunday, October 3rd, I am performing at the famous Lambert Castle, in Paterson,N.J., with a violinist. We have never played this combination before and this video will show us practicing together for the very first time.

This melody, Cinema Paradiso Theme" was composed by the popular, Morricone ( who wrote the music for the "Godfather Film), and, Daniella wants it played with an "ad-lib" temperament, as you will hear.

The Coro d'Italia Heritage foundation from New York celebrates it's 78th year of exxistence and the two of us will be playing from the second balcony tier.

Thanks to Tony Miceli, I joined the VW and am starting to become acquainted with the make-up of the fine organiztaion, plus, communicating with many members to discuss many subjects of concern to all vibists. Also, I noted the importance of Marie's continued observations that she explains in a wonderful manner that every single member acknowledges with joy.

Last Friday night, Mike Pinto visited me at thr restaurant that I gig in on weekends and after he introduced himself, I "gave him hell" for not getting there sooner.

All that will say is, "we WOW'd the patrons" jamming the tunes selected. We made some videos that I am sending. Here's one for now and because it take some time to get the others aboard youtube, I'll send the attachments!
