This is a demonstration/lesson about harmonizing the blues scale to create chord solos. I hear this a lot in piano players and big band writing. It can be a little tricky to move chords around on the vibes quickly, but it works pretty well using simple lines from the blues scale.

Attached are two pdfs, one of the demo I play at the beginning and the other of harmonizing possibilities for each chord. I would welcome your ideas/suggestions as I am still working on this concept.

Today I showed up at AJR Metal Works parking lot (Dallas) for an impromptu concert to demonstrate and play a couple pieces for the great employees who helped machine parts for my two vibraphones - USA Vibe and Antarctic Vibe. This (obviously) is my USA vibe. At one of many visits to have parts made, I often heard that the employees rarely get to see the finished product and enjoy the fruits of their labor. So, I decided that when this vibe is ready to play, I'd drop in on them.

這邊講到如何在四個音的和弦上，只移動一個音，就可以換到下個和弦。
打開PDF，看到第一行，是最基本的2-5-1-6的和弦進行。
從Aminor7中，移動5音（G）到下一個和弦D7的三音(F#)。
然後第二小節Gmajor7的根音（G）移動到下個和弦E9的三音(G#)

依此類推，你可以看到下一行也是用這樣的方式，
只移動一個音到鄰近的音，但是整個和弦聲音都變了。

甚至是第三行，就算在同一個和弦上，我們也可以移動一個音，改變和聲配置，
讓你在Comping時，更多選擇可以使用。

這個練習可以幫助你練習止音、樂句以及音樂理論。
隨機選一個調性打一段旋律，再從那個調性中，選一個音當作是下一個樂句的調性的主音。

(選一個在C major 中的音) 比如G 音 ——— (選一個音階會經過G這個音) Eb major
(選一個在C major 中的音) Bb ——— (選一個音階會經過G這個音) B major

練這個練習，會讓你的樂句更有音樂性，如果一開始很慢沒關係，慢慢練習會越想越快，到後來也許你會先有粵劇的idea，調性才會出現。
