Hey guys, this is just a scratch recording I made today. I recently got some very basic recording equipment and Logic, and I have discovered:

1. I know nothing about recording.
2. I know nothing about recording the vibraphone.

BUT, that hasn't stopped me from doing some experimenting, and here's the first product! This is a John Mayer tune, sort of R&B/Blues rather than Jazz, but I decided to spice it up with a few extra chords.

I just had an interesting 2 gigs weekend, in term of amplification.
I recently buyed second hand AMT mics from Tyler Blanton and I use them with Sennheiser e604 mics as described in this 3 years old post https://www.vibesworkshop.com/blog-entry/some-work-my-m55/babu/050316

Spend some time listening to Gloria Krolak's vibe radio show. You will find great players you never new about!

I have been studying a lot of Chick Transcriptions lately and found some techniques that are imitable on Vibraphone.

This is a great exercise for all levels, but very good for beginning level players!
