Hi VW friends!
If you are going to be in town for PASIC, be aware that Indy's jazz tradition is still going VERY strong. We have amazing players who come up from the great music school at IU, plus a bunch of fantastic local players. There are two clubs in Indy that are strictly jazz - the Jazz Kitchen, and the Chatterbox. The Chatterbox is located downtown - just one mile from the Convention center and is really worth checking out. On weekdays the music starts at 8:00 and there is no cover charge and the drinks are cheap.

"Imagine" by John Lennon - Recorded in 1971, this song is timeless and one was John Lennon's biggest hit. Seems so appropriate for what's going on in today's world. Here's my interpretation which includes some reharm and a modulation. Mallets: Vic Firth Signature model (M39).
