These three lessons will really go in depth with how you can creatively voice diminished chords, and how you can use the same shapes on non-diminished chords. Reading on the vibraphone is not easy. I find it to be very difficult and for me, it is perhaps the most challenging part of playing.

I'm very particular about the recording and sound. I'm a novice at best for working Logic Pro and final cut but I do know that if I don't control the ricocheting acoustic sounds flying around the room, I'll be frustrated from the start.

In the past, I built expensive baffles and they worked okay but were very difficult to build and even more difficult to move if I want to take them to a new residence or even just move them to a different spot. If you move, you simply fold them up or use them as padding for furniture (win/win).

What are the chords? What are the extensions.

Teachers don't have to and shouldn't show students everything.

Listen to the what you play. Does it sound like a familiar progression?

The first chord should be obvious even though it's not in root position.

(Clue it's not a major 6 chord).
The key should give you a clue as to what's happening.
