Something old, Something new and Something blue! That's 1970's Musser M55 Bars, Malletech frame, and Blue Bossa!
I've done many of these type of lessons. But you know what, they're super important. You have to spend time experimenting with voicings to build your chord vocab. It takes time and work!
Especially when studying jazz standards, each tune can teach you something.
In this tune I'm briefly checking out Minority because it's a minor tune with major 2 5's and they move in a sequence. So play the same lick or idea on every chord!
Simple example of a way to study harmony. Learn it and use it for more complex progessions. It usually almost always works, but sometimes it doesn't.
