What is a signature?

A signature is something that will reside at the bottom of all your posts. You can set up your own signature with a link to your site, myspace page, cd, whatever. It's great because if you right something that someone else digs, they will most likely go to your site and learn more about you.

Everyone should use a signature!

To set up your signature, click on 'My Account' once you've logged in. Scroll down and you should see where to enter your signature.

Then when ever you leave a post your signature will automatically be appended onto the post.

In addition to Signature, which is shown for each message the user posts, I think it would be nice to have another optional field (in the Personal Information section) for the user to add information about themselves, e.g., goals, styles of interest, gear, etc. I personally don't do MySpace, etc. This field will be displayed when someone clicks on the user's name, either in the Online users area, Who's new area or in message's Submitted By field.
