Day 5 is similar to Day 4 with open position chords. Take notice of the final chord in this lesson. It's a Cm6 chord with the 11th in the top. This is a great voicing for minor chords. Be sure to memorize this one and put it through some different keys.

Here is an idea that I've been working on- some groupings of notes in the Melodic minor mode and ways of making melodies with them.

1:21 I say top 2 voices, I mean top three
2: 15 I say Bbmaj 9. I mean Bb-9(man 7)
I say confirmation. I mean Blues for Alice.
I say Ab-7 where I mean Bb-7
He said play an Ab dominant bebop scale over a Cmin7b5. It's interesting because a C-7b5 looks like a rootless Ab9 chord.
So I thought I'd pass it along here. I'm sure he has covered it in lessons, but I thought I would mention it.
