My masters recital footage!

William, this is really great stuff! I listened through the whole concert and genuinely enjoyed every bit of it. Cool compositions and great playing by everyone involved! You should be proud.

Would you be able to talk a bit about what the pieces mean to you? And where you draw your influences from musically? Also, where did you do your master's at?

Very happy to see this. Will came to Boston two years ago in the summer to study with me. We worked on a lot of vibraphone and improv related concepts. He rented an apartment and worked on a food truck. I remember Will being an excellent student and would come to each lesson with a list of questions. He went to all of the concerts in town and all of my gigs. I also know he was doing a lot of practicing. He then went on to study with Rusty and get his Master's degree. Really nice seeing someone with the strong determination and perseverance to do all of this. Ed
