Dear all
I am selling my beautiful Bergerault VPV gold vibraphone. The instrument is about three years old but has been used very little as I travel quite a lot for research and I never seem to be in place to use it. It rests in my office at the University of Nottingham, never taken out for a gig (I have two and I use the other one when needed), and is in an excellent condition. The instrument is great for transportation, it packs quickly and well, and is very sturdy. No funny noises or anything like that. I am selling it because, first, I am relocating and, second, I plan to upgrade to the BV30 by the same company.
You may see links of it here:

You can listen to the instrument by following the links below. The videos were only made for practice purposes a few years back. I have put them on youtube as unlisted. First is a solo vibraphone take of 'I Remember Clifford' and then a Milt Jackson solo on 'Wonder Why'. I use Joe Locke's mallets in both videos; the latter also has the motor on.

I would ask 2500 euros for the instrument or nearest offer. It's really a very cheap option without sacrificing quality. Bergerault makes cases for easier transportation which are really worth buying if you are planning on gigging a lot. Feel free to pass by Nottingham (!) if you want to try it out.
