Forum Topic: Musser m55 NY metro area

After realizing that 2 back up vibraphones taking up garage space is too much I'm going to part with silver bar m55 from the 70s. Very good condition, Never gigged on. $4500. New M55's have crept up over 6k making this a good value. Older vintages sound better if not beat up, which this one isn't- no major dings or dents, resonators in good shape, clean bars. Great instrument.

Local sale only. I can work with you to meet in the middle within a 100 miles or so.

Forum Topic: Used Musser M55 ProVibe for Sale: $3,600

1974 Musser ProVibe with silver bars for sale in good condition for $3,600. The ProVibe has been one of the most popular vibraphones for decades, and used ones don't show up very often. This instrument was renovated a number of years ago by the late Gilberto Serna of Century Mallet Instruments in Chicago, who was considered to be THE master vibraphone craftsman (I got his name and number from Gary Burton).

Forum Topic: Deagan Imperial Nocturne $3500

I have a beautiful Deagan Imperial Nocturne for sale. I spent some time (yuck) removing all the paint from the frame, down to bare metal and wood. The frame is wood with all original parts, stripped of the awful paint. The instrument has nearly perfect gold bars and the frame (and dual motors) work great. This is the 1958 instrument  that Milt played and Bobby too and it has that sublime high end and percussive fast feel and sound. The bars and resonators have original tuning and they sound so excellent. Really a masterpiece instrument.
