I love her playing. I've posted Dafna's playing on the site before. I think this is fantastic.

Guys! This is the month of the good vibes shared pictures! After Joe Locke in Ireland, here is a shot of Christos Rafalides during his tour in Greece... when he had for instrument Dimitri's vibes! I love the idea and the picture! Now imagine poor Dim having to practice on piano!! Oh man! ;-) But we know Dim, he said it was a good experience! Keep it up guys!! :o)
hello all my vibe family, since 2008 ive been a member of this site and have blogged a history of chronic health issues related to my hands. This Saturday im very pleased to announce on of the first gigs ive done since ive been diagnosed with ciliac desease in april of this year. Since 1987 ive been constantly dealing with hand problems and push thru touring performing and recording session for many years. In 2008 i had to give up playing vibes all together, and now with a strict new diet and lifestyle changes i am back on the vibes full time.

I love this image for all its good vibes symbols: first this is Joe Locke & Geoffrey Keezer group which is awesome in itself. Then because they were playing as star guests at the first Limerick Jazz Festival, organised by our friend and Irish member John Daly (amazing and huge work for him and his team!). And also because Joe is playing John's instrument... needless to say the picture, light and colors are beautiful! Thanks for sharing John! :o) - M

Hey guys keep your eyes open for a used m55. I need one for the University of the Arts.
I'll take this down once I get one.
Guys, check Dana out! Killlllling. I have watched this about 20 times since last night when I first discovered it. The tenors sound great, too.
Happy October. To get you in the mood for Halloween, I enclosed my arrangement of Vince Guaraldi's "Great Pumpkin Waltz". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Great_Pumpkin
I think it is a good beginner 4-mallet tune to play, with descending bass. My arrangement uses double-stops in the left handle. I didn't write out the B section left hand (lazy); the Gmaj7 is G&B thirds; the Cm is C&Eb, but sometimes I use A&Eb.
I might have an opportunity to jam with an accordion and guitar in November, doing an Art Van Damme thing.
I am trying to collect some tunes that would be good to do. I think one would be Autumn in New York. Here is my practice session with BIAB.
If you have any suggestions of tunes to play, please let me know.
Thanks,
Barry
