Just got my new vibes today, musser m55 gold, I love em already. Just thought I'd put something up here for fun.

I am in process of building my own set of 3 8va vibes. I have all the bars cut to the proper length with no node holes drilled as of yet. They are 1/2" thick and come in 2, 1 3/4 and 1 1/2 inch widths.

Who can I send them to for INITIAL tuning to either A-440 or A-442? I either do this or buy one on line? Help is appreciated.

I am conductor of a large civic band here in Clearwater (Dunedin) FL and we need a set but cannot spend $4K on a new outfit. Anything would help. Thanks.

I got a used Adams VSWV31 Soloist vibe and it sounds great (...and yeah, all bars are in tune !).

Because the bar cords were very worn out, i got a new set... Which leads me to the question if there is any advice on setting a proper bar cord tension? How much tension should be on the cord springs? Are there any 'thumb-rules'?

Looking for some help on Angel Eyes, and ballads in general. I feel like there is just so much rhythmic possibility in ballads, help me figure out what I am missing!

You guys know about the 15 min. rule. I keep a timer with me, in fact I keep it on my desk. When my schedule is absolutely nuts, I figure out 15 min. here and there or I can practice. Since it's only 15 min. is not that big of a deal. A block out a couple times turn on the timer on and focus and practice for the 15 min. I find this could really help on those crazy days where you seem to have no time to practice all. I just thought I would pass along to you guys.

I like this version of Lullaby even with all the reverb. Check out the tempo. It really really rushes. I played with two young good musicians. The drummer REALLY rushed everything. In the rehearsal I started to get mad and then I realized how many times I've rushed things.

Do you know who has really helped me with my tempo problems? Marie. She'll flag any of my videos with tempo or any other problems and email me. I went on a metronome binge after that and use the metronome often now. She really helped me by drawing attention to the problem.
