My Cherie Amor by the Dana Sudborough Quartet
Here's another scratch recording from a recent gig at a flight museum. Towards the end you can hear some adults (jeez) playing with a remote control helicopter in the big hall of jets we were playing in. Anyway, band was great! Too bad I missed the cue by the piano player to go to the intro coming out of my solo.
Dana Sudborough - eVibe
Brian Piper - piano
Jonathan Fisher - bass
Andrew Griffith - drums

Like someone in Love by Philippe
Updated version (voc+vib+dms)
Hi ! I posted this tune two days ago, and I took it off after an hour, because it sounded pretty horrible. I had done it in Bb, which is too high for me to sing in , the tempo was too slow and there were 6 choruses of it ! Here, it's in Ab, the right key for me, and I've cut it down to size.

Two Great Examples of Playing Solo
Check out these 2 versions of playing solo! Very interesting to me because they are very very different in there approach. Ted's is always a laid back approach and he has some great dampening technique down that he uses quite effortlessly. Patrice is a great classical player that does a great job crossing over into jazz. He's got some serious chops happening and his approach is really great.
I dug so much listening to both these guys back to back. They're both really worth studying and listening and watching.
Great stuff guys!

Joe's Vibe Rebuild #9 in a series, Epilog
Pay no attention to the bald guy in front of the vibe. -- Just a computer nerd who likes to build stuff from time to time. Enjoy the pictures.
By the way keep playing.. The world needs more music.

Joe's Vibe Rebuild #9 in a series, The test drive by Da Man himself
He's smiling :)
I didn't take any pictures of the process of building the rails. Mostly because I have a proprietary way of making them so they work, in my opinion, better than the original.
Joe's Vibe Rebuild #8, Getting close
This is actually the scary part. One slip or a wrong measurement and it's back to the wood store.
