Beautiful as always!

Those of you who know me know that my current main teacher is not a musician. He, nonetheless, continues to teach me more about improvisation, life, music, and how they all go together.

Today, he repeated one of his favorite instructions to his students and it really took on a whole new level of importance in life, so I’ll share it with all of you:

“Learn to do this in a way that you will enjoy doing it.”

A quick lesson on selective dampening. This is a subject around dampening that isn't talked about very much, but I think it has a lot of potential! Let me know what you think.

Just wanted to give a shout out/thanks to Beiner Bags for making cases for my M75 vibraphone and delivering them on time for my upcoming move out of state. I asked for a different color than black to distinguish them from my other set of cases, and they made them red!
