As I was doing this, I thought that maybe I did one of these before on the site.
But it's ok, here's another one!
5 choruses of Rhythm Changes. 3 choruses of lines and one of voicings.
Then there's one where I play quarter notes on top and voice chords on the beat. It's a great way to study harmone, voicings and make simple lines.
Play it with Aebersold Ireal, or the bass track I have here. And do the following.

The classic marimba and vibraphone duet. These two instruments are one of my favorite color contrast and sound. Especially when it’s just two players. The marimba has a steady deep side that can quickly change to a higher tone at any moment. The same goes for the vibraphone but I feel that the vibraphones tone can cut through more. So, by having the deep and higher play together sounds just amazing in my opinion.
My folks watch the Poirot TV series; my Mom was obsessed with one of the pieces of music they used, Satie's Gnossienne No. 1 (from the show - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLbSgVmFPD4). My Dad sent me the sheet music; a subtle hint to learn it. Hahaha. Anyway, I took the challenge.
If you want to work on one-hand dampening, try this one.
Here is my best take of the night. I want to try to take it a little slower, and incorporate more dampening.
Comments appreciated.

Vibraphone and guitar duets always fascinate me. These two can often compete with either other in a combo setting or big band because they are both comping instruments. I think the sounds don’t always mix the best with a piano also trying to play as well. After we talked about the emotion that certain chords give off, this was the perfect album to follow that lesson. Each song has a different story and meaning, and the chord progression can make you feel some sort of way. This is definitely a “sit in the dark with it blasting in your ears” type album.
