I'm posting this monthly announcement a little earlier than usual because I notice a large majority of you get to read the program announcements well after the shows have aired. Now that's not gonna help if you want to listen in.
Hello guys and M-N, here's a vid of me practicing the melody of a beautiful composition by Joe titled "Love Is A Planchette". Joe brought the lead sheet when he visited for a rehearsal for our upcoming CD. He'll be here in July at Berklee for a duo concert with Joe and myself playing two vibes. It should be a lot of fun.
This clip is one of three that I posted up on my YouTube page. Pretty funny about my two golden retrievers Gibson and Jackson coming in when I started to play. I'm thinking they either dig or hate it and want me to stop playing. Probably the latter.

This is what I was trying to make reference to in the shout box, on June 22nd, (sorry about the clutter). I think the two instruments compliment each other well in this atmospheric composition. Thoughts?

This is a GREAT story. I Hope Alain will talk about his vibes and what he's doing. Incredible interesting I think. 
This is a complete version, with the first part (kind of verse for american people), by Yves Montand, one of the best french singers, who created the song (not exactly, there was another version before, but which didn't do the tremendous hit of Montand's one).
Since the lyrics are a poem of Jacques Prévert, if you sing the song in french, it's a nonsense not to sing both parts.
I felt anyone would know all that. Enjoy !
