試著找出含有這個音的音階，做單旋律的即興，同時演奏完一個音，
就止掉那個音。保持乾淨的旋律。

Here's a clip (5 choruses) starting in F and then going up a minor 3rd for each chorus and eventually ending back in F. The bridge is a little tricky since it goes through 3 keys a major 3rd apart.

選幾個和弦，play in time, 簡單的小練習，，可以練習很多東西，練習抓到groove and feel。
比如選一系列Fminor的和弦：
Root, 7th, 3rd, 5th 平行上行。
試著維持這樣的音程關係。
F, Eb, Ab, C
G, F, Bb, D
Ab, F, C, Eb
Bb, G, D, F
C, Ab, Eb, F
D, Bb, F, G
……….
可以只loop前四個和弦，然後play a groove in time(選一個節奏型態，定速演奏)，甚至演奏一些簡單的solo, 維持bass音。
＊play a groove in time(選一個節奏型態，定速演奏)時，就算有一點miss掉音，也還是保持節奏感。
也可以只演奏bass音（一路上行），然後solo。

”調式互換“（modal interchange）
寫一首C major的曲子，我們有七個順接和弦（Diatonic Chord）可以用。
而且每個和弦你可以用不同的和聲配置（voicing）達到不同的效果，
像是C5, C, C major7, C major9(13),C major7/E….
現在我們創一組和弦，只用到Ionian中的和弦
I Vi IV major7#11 I major7
C A- F Major7#11 Cmajor7

但是如果想要更多色彩，可以用”調式互換“（modal interchange）或著我們可以說，跟其他的調式借和弦來用（the borrowing of chords from Parallel modes）。
Parallel modes = 不同音階，但是他們用同一個主音。

常常我們在Comping時，會限制在一個和弦只有一種voicing(和聲配置)
但是如果能在一個和弦上找到不同的voicing，並且是有和聲進行（Harmonic motion）的，會讓comping聽起來更豐富。
可以看看PDF檔中，Behn的例子是用藍調(Blues)來說明這個“互換兩個和聲配置”（Alternating two voicing）
熟悉了之後，可以開啟節拍器，按照速度演奏，再自己加上一些節奏感，這會是很好的練習。
