Time to write in the blog again, tho there is not a whole lot to mention.
Life goes on as usual, yet we did change a couple of things here, both on the instruments as in the development.
I got a lot of positive remarks on the tilted bars of the carbonVibe, so I decided to also have the gigVibe available with this enormously comfortable layout. You now have the choice of either fixed flat bars or fixed tilted at an angle of 3 degrees. It is incredible how much that increases comfort.
Hey guys. I just purchased an M48 Musser Pro Tour Vibraphone. The bottom F and F# are not being muted by the dampener bar. Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this? The instrument is literally brand new (could it be the strings just need some time to stretch?). Another problem I am already noticing is a clicking sound coming from the part of the dampener bar that attaches to the frame from the metal on metal. However, the Musser I had at school did not have this metal on metal sound, even though it was assembled the same way. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
