Good Vibes enters its THIRD YEAR with the May 6th (and 9th) program.
These are all favorites from the past year, although as I will say in the show itself, it is always a challenge to cull the playlist down to ONLY 20 tunes. Tony's "Blue Skies" with vocalist Libby McDowell gets a replay, as does Joe Locke's "The English Patient," David Friedman's "Los Them," Behn's "The Dog Days," and 16 more.
It's been a great, fun two years. Thank you to all of you for support.

Good Vibes airs on the first Sunday of the month, 8-10 pm eastern time

I've got 2 high quality mics for sale. These AKG c-414s are excellent for studio recording or amplification on a gig. They are large diaphragm condenser mics that recording engineers have used and trusted for years.

This mic has 4 settings - cardioid, hyper cardioid, omni, and figure 8. It has 2 roll-off settings for low frequences of 75 hz or 100hz. You can also reduce the sensivity by 10 or 20 db. Both come with windscreen, mic stand adapter, case, and user manual.

Hey guys, spoke with M-N today about what's been taking up my time. Between Berklee, teaching at home and gigs, writing books has been keeping me busy. The improv book is finished and came out to 21 chapters spread out over 4 volumes. We're almost ready for the production of Volume 1. I'm here today at the house tweaking a few chapters. First - the March show is getting two more air dates, March 25 and 28. The usual Sun/Weds times. This program is honoring womankind. Men, don't feel left out. Your turn is coming in June.

April's show airs on Sunday, April 1 and Wednesday, April 4.

This Saturday we are going to stream a concert featuring Mike Pinto and Greg Osby. I'll also be warming you guys up with Diane Monroe. We'll have 2 sets.

I've been trying to do something like this for a long time. I'm hoping we can have more concerts in the future.

We'll each play a set starting at about 2:30 east coast, USA time. Diane and I will hit first.

I like the fact that this will be to duos with a bass players. Kind of interesting from 'our' perspective, huh? That is the perspective of playing vibes.
