I go to a high school where during each of your three underclassman years you do a one week internship in whatever you want. Anyone have any good vibe related ideas/leads? Anything in performance or craftsmanship would be really cool. I live in Columbus, Ohio and although I can leave the state, keep in mind that I must find some sort of lodging.

hmmm,
that's a tough one.
at the very least we need help finishing putting the material here in new books. you could do this internship from home and you'd check out all the material on the site.
that might not be of interest to you, but i'll offer it. you could just hang out at home and practice and work on the book. also if you did this i could give you assignments on the vibes and we could meet up via skype and do lessons.
so, you'd be playing and working on vibe related stuff in a virtual environment.
just a thought. we 'd have to explore it a little but the idea in principal might work.
regardless one way or another this site is turning into a catalog of the vibe world, somehow there's an internship here. just think one up if you want and let me know. i'd go for just about anything i think.

What exactly would that involve? I have no real website managing experience although that is one pretty interesting option.

this might be a good internship for you. to see how we use the vibes on the web. how a website like this works. we could show you have to do some stuff. you help us. then tjaco and i take turns showing you stuff.
in addition, i'd give you an online lesson or 2, so you'd also see how that works.
and finally depending on when, if you could fly out here for a day (where are you?), you could shoot some video with me. maybe even your own lesson for us, and then a couple tunes.
what we would need from you is a lot of 'labor', getting the virtual books in order.
just thinking out loud. when is this internship?

the internship is a week in march (i believe its towards the end, ill get back to you on that)
labor is not a problem, im basically committed to at least 8-14 hours a day and with this being something i truly enjoy it will probably be closer to 14 and even if half of that is going through virtual books and organizing it i bet i would still learn quite a bit
i live in columbus, ohio and if i remember correctly you're in Philadelphia which is probably only about 8 hours away by car so getting together to jam and film something would be pretty easy and sounds amazing
as i said, ill post the exact date tomorrow and i really hope this all falls into place, it sounds like an awesome experience

yeah,
we could do a lesson online, so you could check that out.
i could show you how to organize the v-books online.
then at the end of the week or weekend you come up, and you could even do an online lesson for us as a final, plus play something. depending on when you came we could have an online vibe hang and you could play for all your classmates back home.
ok just depends when.

the official start is monday march 22 although if you want to start showing me the ropes the weekend before or something that would be cool, spring break is the week after so i should be able to keep helping with the v-books if needed. you're doing so much for me by helping me with this and it would be nice to feel like i've really given back to this great site
i definitely hope to find a way to philly for at least a day or two (should be pretty feasible) to jam and do some cool things for the site

might be a good idea tony.
I can help out with this if you want. Let's explore after the workshops, then we'll have some time to see. There is a lot of things to be done and most of it is concerned with the categorization of content, so this could be a nice internship, I guess.
