I hung out with the guitar great Louie Stewart and Philly's own Larry Mckenna while in Ireland.
They both told me about Tubby Hayes. I didn't know that he played vibes. I'm listening to him right now and he sounds great and swinging!
Any else know about him?

I knew Tubby was an amazing tenor player, at the vanguard of British jazz in the 50s along with Ronnie Scott, but I didn't know he had also played vibes!
