Hi everyone!
I've just released my new composition for solo vibraphone called Solitude. I have been spending a lot of time in quarantine thinking about what sounds I like to hear on the vibes and how to showcase them. This piece is the result of that and I am very excited about it. Here's a video I made with my buddy down in Chiapas, Mexico. When you enter his town there is a huge (I mean huge) sculpture of a marimba. The cool thing is I think it's made out of metal. Touche! We win!

As some of you know, for the past few months I've been studying a lot of Bud Powell on piano, and by the transitive property, also vibraphone. I've done a number of transcriptions and analyses, and I've learned almost every tune he ever wrote. So, for some closure before I go to Oscar Peterson, I'll be posting three solo vibraphone versions of his tunes.
