Was working on Waltz For Debby yesterday at the house. One of my favorite tunes of Bill. Inspired of course by Bill and the trio's rendition and also a wonderful version by Gary and Chick.
Hello guys,
One more practice tape from Patrice... who still can't post his videos one the site.
Enjoy! :o)

In this video you can see a transcription of a Milt Jackson solo on the »La Ronde Suite«, composed by John Lewis as recorded by the »Modern Jazz Quartet« in Jan. 1955. The »La Ronde Suite« has four movements. Each movement features one of the instruments of the quartet. The vibraphone is featured in part 3.

Hey All,
Hard to believe, it's five years since Good Vibes, the first and only broadcast program to feature the vibraphone, first went on the air.
I just wanted to post a congrats to Christos (Rafalides) for releasing his new suite for solo vibraphone, Reaching For Sindhu. I've had a chance to listen to the piece and check out the sheet music... and it's a really great piece of music! Here are the links to both the video (where Christos explains various elements and performs the piece), and also his website where the music is available, in both digital and hard copy formats. Check it!
