Another master left us. Aged 85, James Moody passed yesterday Dec 9th. I came across this video.
Brilliant, generous, nuts, cheerful, so musical... and sooo alive!
Hats off Mr Moody! :o) RIP.

Always have the last word
Love this music!
A rare and classic video performance by the late vibist, drummer and percussionist, the legendary Larry Bunker playing vibes with reedman, saxophonist and flutist Paul Horn's quintet.
"We Three Kings." Buon Natale!
Ok, here is my one minute gig on TV. Man, 1 minute is too short!! It all had to go fast, you know, it's TV... So I missed some F&%"n notes here and there.
And the soundcheck we did without the main speaker system, so we had some trouble playing in sync as you can hear. I think I had about 30 meters of cable between my vibes and the mixer.
Anyway hope you guys like it!
In the interview we talk about this site!! So that's good promotion for Vibesworkshop in Holland!

Here's the introduction of me at a dutch TV show I played in recently.
I'll post my (1 minute!) version of Recordame next...

As you may know, I have a Premier 751, freshly restored by my husband. Still we had parts to change, advice to get for this very first time. John Daly got me a great address: Orchestral Percussion.
I’d like to introduce this one man company: Paul Jefferies has been of great help, advice and got me some lost parts. He's surely not the only one, but he's a true vibes geek… and who knows he may some day save your instrument?
Hi Everyone,
Just a reminder that Good Vibes rebroadcasts this Wednesday December 8, 4-6pm eastern US time. I am honored that it will also air on Christmas Day at 2:00. Special Xmas Day treat at the very end: Dana Sudborough playing "Carol of the Bells" with his septet (Dana, Dana, Dana, Dana, etc.) Thanks for your permission, Dana!
