"I'm A Fool To Want You" - Solo Vibraphone

"I'm A Fool To Want You" - working today on this classic song written in 1951 by Frank Sinatra, Jack Wolf and Joel Herron. Using my Vic Firth M39 mallets on a Yamaha vibe. I'm pleased with the sound and feel of the new mallets. Enjoying the nuance and subtleties at a soft dynamic level while still sounding full. (My apology for the squeaky pedal. I'll have to bring some oil next time. :) )

Different Strokes: Working the Mallets Pt. 1

My Song by Keith Jarrett - solo vibes

One of my favorite compositions by Keith Jarrett. I've been listening to some brilliant versions from Keith playing this song. Some from the 70's as well as some newer renditions. They are all inspiring but the one from the live version recorded in Lille, France in '81 is very special. Day off from Berklee due to the snowstorm so I had some more time in the shed.
