Thought I'd post this for many reasons. 1. the music is great. 2. Ken is very talented and 3. HE HAS A LUMINA.
I don't think they make a lumina any more (not sure).
It used mallets that sent out signals so each mallet could be it's own sound.
Ken knows more about it then me obviously, maybe he'll talk about it here.
Check out all the sections of this piece and how he moves from one section to the next. Great stuff!

Did this a long time ago!
I played this song with my student Oliver Mayman. He's a fantastic player and graduating in a couple of weeks. He will be missed!
What do you guys think?
It's bizarre to me. They juggle and play bach.... and make a whole bunch of mistakes.
In case you can't see it here's the link. It's on facebook.
The only thing about doing stuff for social media is you have to make something, listen to it and make sure it's at a good standard. And if not you redo it and redo it.
Here's something for youtube reels and tik tok.
And I do really like playing with the app Drum Genius.
Don't remember if I ever posted this. It's from a concert last year for a festival in Taiwan that was online because of covid.
It was my quartet with special guest (my x student) Chien Chien Lu.
Andrei Pushkarev (vibraphone)
