jonathan,

just got a gig thursday, but i'm done at seven should be home by 9. is that too late?

i'm actually working every night this week.

if thursday falls apart then i think unless you have daytimes free, we're into next week.

what's happening with the resonators? any luck using them?

Hey Tony,

9 on Thursday should be fine, not too late for me.

Yeah, I put the resonators back on and have just been using softer mallets. Turns out it isn't any louder than it was without the resonators using my normal mallets. I had my wife go out in the hallway and check out the sound level and she said it's no louder than the TV. It's definitely more fun to practice with the full sound of the instrument!

Hey Tony,

I just found out that I have an important job interview first thing Friday morning so I'm probably going to be going to bed early Thursday night.

Is there another time we can do it, either over the weekend or early next week?

That should also give me time to finish up the second chorus of the Dexter solo and finish Over the Rainbow in G.

Sunday night would be perfect, I have nothing going on so any time that night would work for me.

Thanks, I'm hoping for the best, I've had a bunch of interviews lately but nothing's been working out.

Yeah, I do work now but I've been working for my dad's company/doing consulting work on the side. I've just been looking for something more related to my degree that'll provide some advanced training, etc. IT I've been hearing is a tough field to find your first job in, then it gets easier.

Hey Tony,

Just got back from the interview. I think your idea is better than what they were telling me lol. I don't think it was quite what I was looking for but you live you learn. Looking forward to Sunday night and having a weekend to practice and gain inches of the miles it takes to play like guys like you, ed, John, Joe, etc....heck anyone in the shoutbox this morning. I wish I would have been around for that!

in a way i'm right. but life isn't that easy. you're real talented and sounds like you have a very supportive wife, get as much done on the instrument before the 'kid' comes and you'll be ok. assuming a kid will come some day. maybe not, just i know it gets tougher then.

you should proud of yourself and how you're coming along.
