I have a Musser M55 which fits beautifully into my Honda Element. Elements were made in the years before modern safety features became standard. I'd like something similar with modern safety features, not as big as a minivan. Fuel efficient would be a plus. Any suggestions?

you know what, you can…

you know what, you can pretty much fit the vibes into most cars. I have a subaru imprezza and they fit in with plenty of room.
for smaller cars, you put the front seat down and the back seats and it should work. I had a Prius and that was great. even the new smaller prius' I'm sure the vibes would fit.
I've rented cars with trunks and put the back seats down and they worked. sometimes the clearance in cars with trunks from the trunk to the backset is a problem. but i always have managed.
do you have cases? bring the cases empty and put them in the car.

Are you talking about fully assembled vibes or taken apart? I'm having trouble imagining my vibes assembled, fitting in most cars.

Bummer they discontinued…

Bummer they discontinued that line! I can fit my M55 into a 2016 Honda CR-V without disassembly, though I still have to adjust the vibe's height to it's lowest setting. Models after 2016 have a SLIGHTLY lower clearance that make fitting the vibes impossible. With econ mode engaged I average about 26mpg.

I drive a Tesla Model 3 and both my Deagan Aurora and my Commander II fit okay with the wide backseat down.
The mileage oer gallon is of course to die for 😂

Sounds great, but are you talking about one (or both) instruments broken down, or assembled?
I don't see a reply here, so…

I don't see a reply here, so I'll chime in and say, I'm sure (but not positive) it's disassembled.
Again you'd be surprised by which cars you can fit a set of vibes in. I think if they are a hatch back then I bet that 90% will fit the vibes. Maybe the front
passenger seat comes down but they should fit ok.
