INSTRUMENT HAS BEEN SOLD.

Hello fellow vibists,

I'm selling a rare and vintage Deagan Traveller Vibraphone from the 1960's. Asking $900.

It has non-graduated bars and is slightly smaller than a full-size model, making it perfect for touring and studio work.

I toured with this instrument for a few years so it has some wear and tear including some scratches on the bars and a few dings on the resonators.

The motor was broken when I bought it and I never found the time to repair it, although I'm sure it would be inexpensive to fix.

Also the rod that connects the damper pedal to the damper disappeared on a tour, so I ended up using a piece of rope. A rod replacement can be ordered from Century Mallet Instruments in Chicago for very cheap.

I have factored these issues into the sales price. (It cost me $1200 when I bought it 3 years ago.)

The instrument is located in Montreal, Canada but I would also be willing to bring it to Burlington, VT for a little gas money.
