I got the tip from my student Oliver who is a piano player and moves voicings from the piano to the vibes. Oliver rocks!
Some Sunday night musical reflection on “America” with some reharmonization, modulation and constant structure chords. If anyone would like the lead sheet just let me know.
I'm trying to get organized here, but it's not easy for me. Since the quarantine I have been busier than I've ever been. Being online is more work than being offline!
But I would like to see which subscribers want to meet up once or twice a month and play and talk about stuff.
Here's the thing, you have to have good bandwidth, decent audio and decent video.
There are ways to do it. And I will help any subscriber that has questions.

WANDERING SCALES - I think it's a good exercise to be able to move from scale to scale from wherever you are. Here's one chorus of that.

Today at the vibes coffeehouse someone asked "Where are all the other vibes players? Why aren't they here?"
There were 27 of us on the Zoom call today, but there are around 5000 vibesworkshop members on this site. Only 25-40 of us are the hardcore bunch tuning in each week.
"Bridge Over Troubled Water" - Vibes and Strings. Recorded the string track and then played vibes over that. The strings switched from left to right half way past the clip which was not intentional. I wish I had real live strings but I can't afford it. :) An appropriate song I think for the time. Best wishes for everyone out there. Ed
