Hey All,
September is coming up fast. Some highlights of the September show:
Something old - Red Norvo and "September Song"
Something new - Joe Locke, from his new Love Is A Pendulum, "For Jesse Mountain"
Something blue - Behn Gillece on Ensemble Novo's CD Blue Night playing "Church Is Where You Are."
Nothing borrowed. Hey, it's not a wedding!
And Tony playing "I Loves You Porgy" from Looking East. For no reason at all, except that it's one of the best renditions of that tune I've ever heard.
Lots more
September airs on the 6th and 9th, 8:00 and 4:00pm eastern.

Revisiting an original composition that I wrote back in 2008. A copy of the lead sheet can be downloaded from my website.
At home today revisiting Keith Jarrett's beautiful composition "Memories of Tomorrow". This composition is the last track on "The Koln Concert", an important solo recording by Keith. Keith's playing on this song is inspiring.
