Workshop Recap - Harmonization Exercise Pt. 3 by Behn Gillece
This is great and fun to watch. And so well done. And Alexey is a great player.
It seems to me this isn’t the audio of the actual outdoor playing. I think we would hear more noise. But maybe I’m wrong. What do you think? Anyway I love watching even if the audio is pre-recorded. It’s still great.

Doxy is a great tune to play. One thing cool about it, is I guess since there are so many dominant chords you can get really bluesy of the chords. Which is interesting because sometimes the chords don't have much of a relationship with the blues scale, but you can play the blues over them. I have always been fascinated by that. The fact that you can use the blues scale over sort of non related chords.
Any way here's an etude on Doxy where I try to be bluesy and play the chords. A couple spots I think are a little questionable, but I think it all works. What do you think?

Oliver recently did a lesson on playing Misty solo for beginners. It's great lesson!
Meanwhile, I bought the application Staffpad for the Ipad. Where you can write your music using a Apple Pencil. That's what I like about the Ipad, it's that I can write notes and things. I miss that.
However learning Staffpad is a pain in the is. So I've been writing out tunes that I know like Donna Lee, and here is a solo vibe version of Misty.
Any notation problems, let me know. I didn't get to pedaling or dampening, but most of you can figure that out.
